The Corbu Lounge located on 115 Blanchard St Seattle, WA 98121. It was one of the hip dance clubs in the area. Club K Town on 52 Lakeshore Plz Dr, Kirkland, WA 98033 and provided a safe place for teenagers and young adult. They are known for their foam machines, leaving the floor slipper and wet, but the experience was fun and exciting for many teenagers. Unfortunately, it closed its door at the disappointment of the younger crowd. In the past, the Crimson C restaurant and lounge used to be known as Larry's and was known for blues music until it changed to hip hop. The Fenix/Fenix Underground club played a lot of metallic and gothic music by rock bands that played there. Today, it is a piano bar. In the past, Velvet Elvis was a music club that served all ages. The Rapture performed there in their early show at a specific day of the week. Some of the regular performers were Zeke and the Murder City Devils bands. The club closed in 1999 because of the noticeable changes in real estate in the Pioneer Square area. The Gorilla Gardens was located on Fifth Street and Jackson Street. Guns and Roses played there in their early days. Other bands that performed there were Sonic Youth, Green Pajamas, Sound Garden and Ramones. The 700 Nightclub was an underground club in the 90s. During those days, you would enjoy hip hop and funk music. RKCNDY is where bands like Pearl Jam performed. This was a dive bar for all ages. In the 1990s, bands like Blood Circus, Blood Brothers and Built to Spill played there. Today, the location is the Springhill Suites Marriott hotel. The Manray gay bar had a futuristic theme. It was one of the favorite date spots for gays in the community, but the building got demolished in the year 2007. Born in 1991, the Crocodile Cafe died suddenly in December.
